In older works it is stated that the canon in Linköping, later (1530) the parish priest in Björkvik parish Södermanland county Petrus Steuchius - of an old family, which was formerly "of arms" and mentioned already in King Erik of Pomerania's time - was the father of the family with certainty eldest knew ancestor Erik Pedersson Stök. Although due to the name and place of residence the probability of a relationship between the two is high, there should be no evidence of the stated family relationship of father to son, regardless of the fact that the time difference seems to make such an assumption impossible |
